1. Support a DateTime field that has a time input alongside the date

   I've seen that article and have implemented it on one of my date/time fields. Unfortunately, this takes an excessive amount of time and is difficult to debug. I need to have the date time field be customizable so that it allows me to enter a time alongside the date. Caspio has already got the latter side od the functionality correct and allows the user to display the time part of a date/time field.

   I'm sure there are plenty of solutions being developed with fields specifying appointment/delivery/arrival/departure times. So, I would think that having an object that handles date and time on both the input and display flawlessly should be a very important object for Caspio to offer to its clients.

2. Enable different fields for value and display when using autocomplete

   Similar to what you can do with dropdowns where there is one field for the display in the dropdown but when you select it, it can grab a different field for the value.

3. Download link on [TABLES> NEW >TABLE DESIGN tab] to download the table design into a csv or other file.

   Currently you have a link on the Datasheet tab to download the table to a file. It would be nice and efficient for a DOWNLOAD link on [Tables>New>TABLE DESIGN tab]
   to download the TABLE DESIGN into a XLS, CSV or other file.

7. CSS Field per element/ Custom Style on an individual Datapage Element

   I think this would be super simple to implement and totally awesome. You could add a field in the properties for an element that allows us to add a custom class. That way we could add some additional styling via an external style sheet. 1 example is to to simply allow some specific elements to be bold versus other. Conditional CSS would be incredible as well. 8. Ability to put apps into a development mode such that you can test without deploying

   I have installed the Contact Log ready-made app to investigate how the logging panel works.
   However in order to do so, and this would apply in a lot of cases - not just the ready-made apps but your own app, you need to deploy it to a web server in order to test it since it uses passed parameters between the various view panels.
   This makes it difficult for non-technical people to develop such apps.
   A 'development' mode interface where the views do not need to be deployed in order to test them out would be handy especially since preview does not work in these scenarios.

   Also a means by which to globally switch off authentication. In the Contact Log app, you have to go into several views to disable authentication, which developing, in order to preview the app.

9. Raise the table limit on view to 25

   I use lots of "dictionary" tables for lookups on drop downs these occur in multiple column in reports so need to be included as a different alias for each said column. Starts to add up pretty quick and I've already met the 16 table limit.

10. Allow Mouse Selection of "Time" for Time and Date Data Types

    Currently,when using a Time/Date Data Type, the only way to enter a Time and Date is to use a Text Field in a data Page(there is no option to select a "Time" when using the "Calendar Popup" option. I propose when "Calendar Pop Up" is selected you also give the option to use Hour, Minute and AM/PM Drop downs. Currently this can only be accomplished Java Script in the footer.

11. Record Locking

    Not all the time we work with people editing only his own profile info. In our case, we have a lot of users who might access to the same records without any notice that somebody else open it before. This causes information being lost. For example, User A opens a record first and then User B does. As user A only editted the date of birth leaving the middle name empty, as he did not intend to deal with the middle name. Now user B (who accessed the record while it was being editted by User A), only wants to update the middle name but he will leave the date of birth empty. User A saves the changes and everything is OK but when User B does it, the date of birth entered by User A would be lost.

    Is it possible to grant edit permissions only to the first user opening a record and then the others would be granted with view permissions only??

    Is like in Access, you can set record locking to avoid conflicts.

12. Code editing

    I have finally given up on creating javascript and HTML code directly to the code editor window (CodeWindow.jpg). There is obviously no code error-checking, which is inconvenient but I think that would be difficult to feature (idk...). However, can we not have a monospace font that is standard of (all?) code editors out there? (ActualCode_Editor.jpg) And why can't the size of the code window be made bigger?

    When the "Collapsible group" option is selected in "Group display" for a single field in the Results Page of a Tabular Report datapage, it would be nice to have a button that would allow the user to Expand all or Collapse all the collapsible groups.

14. custom sort field for cascading dropdowns

    please add a custom sort field to cascading dropdowns so I can customize how the results display other than the options given. This can be achieved by adding one more sort filed to the cascading sorting options, however to allow for a custom sort too would be really cool so the user can set the sorting per cascading option right there vs doing it in a table.

15. Import & Replace full App without affecting table records

    We use multiple accounts for development, testing, and production. When we export an App from one account, we have the option of whether or not to include the data from the tables or just the tables themselves.

    When we import that App into another account and choose to Replace the app, we are not given any options about how to handle the tables and their data. If we exported with data, it will replace all the existing data. If we exported without data, it will empty out the tables completely.

    This is a big problem when it comes to moving things to our production account, as it risks either replacing all of our real data with our fake testing data, or erasing the real data completely. To prevent this we currently have to export all the table data from the target page and import it into the source page before we can export the App itself for migration.

    An option like we have when directly importing tables alone would be wonderful (the options to replace/append/update/update-design).

    When you use relationships, you can use a dropdown and select the value to show and the real value writing on the tables which is good but when working with a lot of data, we might need to see more than 2 display fields to match the option we are looking for. For example, if I have a Doctors list, chances are that I have the same doctor's name for more than 1 record, it'd be good if besides the doctor's name as displayed value, we could also have the address field. Like working in MS Access, you can choose how many columns you want to display for the dropdown and set the primary column as that's the value stored in the database.
