  1. Create 'self-sufficient' copy of an app

At the moment when you copy 'duplicate' an app from the admin panel it creates a copy of the app and updates the table names with "1". However, the triggers are not updated. This leads to the dangerous situation that a user could be modifying a copy of an app, but actually impacting their original data. I'd like to suggest that users are given the option to create a 'self-sufficient' app that updates all the references and triggers within the app to use the copied data instead of the original data. For example, if a table is updated to

  2. Application Parameters In TASKS

It would be great to be able to use Application Paramters in TASKS.

For instance, we will want to generate reports on a pre-set basis (e.g. daily, weekly, etc) to be sent from a particular email that's used application-wide and to another particular email that's used application-wide. FromEmail and SendReportsToEmail would be the application parameters.

But when I try to put the application parameters into the task input fields, they won't validate. I can use them in DataPages, e.g. for password recovery and submission acknowledgements. Very frustrating to not be able to use them in tasks as well.

  3. All included in a wiew, new fields included in a table included by default.

    See topic above.

When you add new fields to a table, you then go back to the datapage that was created from a wiew, annoying to dig in to the datapage and find that you have to update the wiew first. I forget it all the time and spend hours wasted. If I choose all included in a wiew new fields should be included by default. Please fix it!

  4. Apply & Stay Button in DataPage Wizard

I wish I could just hit an 'apply' button without having to refresh the page and go back to bridge. We have many datapages that are embedded therefore the preview button does not work and I'd like to be able to review changes to datapages without going back and forth between the bridge with small changes.

There was another request on here from 2014, but it is not currently an option in the wizard.

  5. Let the Web Form Wizard expand and contract

It would be great if the entire Web Form Wizard would scale to fit the size of the user's browser window. I can't see why it shouldn't be able to expand and contract as necessary. I constantly have to scroll to see things, when only a quarter of my browser window is being utilized.

  6. Code editing

I have finally given up on creating javascript and HTML code directly to the code editor window (CodeWindow.jpg). There is obviously no code error-checking, which is inconvenient but I think that would be difficult to feature (idk...). However, can we not have a monospace font that is standard of (all?) code editors out there? (ActualCode_Editor.jpg) And why can't the size of the code window be made bigger?

I don't think I'm asking for the world

  7. Ajax posting of DataPage

so we don't have to exit and re-enter to view changes and make small adjustments. Would love to have been able to stay where I am, make a change, view the effects and then continue on. I've wasted hours re-entering Datapages to get right back where I was....scrolling down a list and re-opening .....

  8. Scheduled Tasks to include Exporting an App XML File (APP BACKUP)

Scheduled backups of our app would be wonderful!!

Currently we can only use Scheduled Tasks to export Tables and Views.

This means any new tables you add to your app after your create your Scheduled Task will have to manually be added to your Scheduled Backup. It also means no DATA PAGES are backed up.

I would use this feature every day.

  9. Larger working area in wizards

After a couple hours building a form, the size of the wizards starts to feel ridiculously small, specifically the Configure Fields/DataPage Elements section. I'd really like to be able to expand this box.

Even better, it would be nice to have a larger editor that is NOT a wizard. I would like to be able to jump between sections frequently.

  10. Multiple email addresses in an app parameter

We should be able to list several email addresses in a single app parameter.

Use case, for example: I have several datapages that send a notification email on update to the same group of people. However, I currently need to list each individual email as an app parameter.

  11. Caspio Apps Report for Management

Caspio Apps Report for Management to be aware of the need to add more datapages or for Caspio team to plan next implementation

    for example
    - CRM (App)

    ---------Sales (Folder)

    ----------- Customer list (DataPage)
    ----------- Customer update (DataPage)
    ----------- Customer Delete (DataPage)
    ----------- Customer Add (DataPage)
    ----------- Customer Link (DataPage)
    ----------- Customer Category (DataPage)
    ---------Services (Folder)
    ----------- Customer Inquiry (DataPage)
    ----------- Customer Inquiry Close (DataPage)

Since there are folder tree in each app then you may help us to get it in report page on the admin console ( can be links with Current Usage DataPages X of XXX)

  12. Clickable links when showing conflicts on a change with dependencies

When there are dependencies blocking a change. Have the list of conflicts be clickable links so you do not have to go back and forth on all conflicts. Just open a new tab to quickly make changes.

  13. include an easy way to search javascript code across datapages for impacted areas by new release

this is to facilitate the identification of code impacted by new releases, so admins can easily find if they have got anything that may be affected.

the design of the current caspio bridge interface does not facilitate this, and having to search through each and every datapage for a line of code can be extremely time consuming.

  15. CAN'T CHANGE CASPIO URL????

I can't believe that basic functionality has to be voted upon and is called a "feature".

I was following instructions I found trying to get a feature on the Map mashups. It referred to having the Caspio URL set. I found where to do this. There WAS NO WARNING that this was permanent and could not be changed and would be critical element in the upcoming releases. I put in a test to see if I could get the map mashup function to work. It didn't.

Now I get an announcement of the upcoming release and the importance of the…

  16. I would like to have the ability to schedule an export of an entire app to an XML file into a specific folder for source control purposes.

Right now you can only export tables and views via Scheduled Tasks. If I could schedule an export of an entire app into my Git repository it would make source control and release management much easier and we could do merges in VSTS as well.

  17. Better analytics dashboard

It would really be nice to be able to see visits/views/data transfer per data page in our usage report.

  18. In the Admin Console DataPage Editor, Label Required Fields with an Asterisk

I think this would be easy, as it's just a display change...

An Asterisk next to a DataPage Element that is set to "Required" would be a nice time saver when working with large DataPages.

  19. Make it easy to find deployed DataPages

On the Usage and Billing screen, I can see how many DataPages I have deployed (e.g. 34 of 50). But there's no easy way for me to see what pages those are. I have 105 DataPages total, as shown in All Assets. To find out which 34 of 105 DataPages are deployed, I have to open each folder within the Apps and then I can sort by the Deployed column to see what's been deployed. There ought to be a view of deployed DataPages across all Apps/Folders.

  20. Navigation issues in admin interface: Direct link to the edit field in wiews and tables from

I propose a link inside the edit datapage directed to the datapage source.
If the source is a wiew links to the relevant tables as an option.
In the datapage source a link back to the datapage that made the call.
