  2. compatible matching blocks when coding.

When you are creating triggers if the blocks that you can use after selecting the block you want to use are highlighted.

In the UI, all of the available blocks seem usable until you try and get an error. It's like when you have "assist" mode on when playing chess. It shows you all of the moves you can make instead of the ones you shouldn't have made. That would change my life lol.

  3. make a read-only view of data tables

The data sheet UI is automatically editable, making it far too easy to accidentally make a change.

  4. Add Weekday function

It would be helpful to have a Weekday function (like in Excel and Access) that assigns a numeric value to the day of the week on which a date occurs (1 = Sunday, 2 = Monday, etc).

  6. Add a SUM field as a data type to perform cross-table tabulation

I chose Caspio over a newer competitor of Caspio because I could have a LITTLE more latitude using Caspio....however, I nearly went with the competitor because they had a SUM field option, that I could set up in a separate table and sum amounts in another table based on criteria determined in my current table.

This functionality is sorely missing. It was the basis of my first support ticket with Caspio. I was told "if you are looking to have a table value updated based on some action or value changed in a different table, this may require a trigger…

  7. Use views in triggers

You can currently only reference tables when building a trigger. Adding the ability to reference Views from triggers would be very helpful, rather than having to rebuild a view's functionality in the Trigger.

  8. Lists that accept more than one column and theae columns can be used in operations on one another

If a list on a table can contain more than one column and you can multiply one column to the other.

  9. End user upload of an excel data sheet to be added to the different fields in the Caspio table.

While this is available to the admin/back end users, I suggest to have a data from the file to be added to different fields in the Caspio table by the end-users.

  10. Make it so that tables not used directly in application do not show up in application.

I have a table showing in my application that is not used in the application. It has a connection to a table that is used in the application.

Another solution would be having folders to organize tables with.

  11. Multiple fields for unique ID

Allow a combination of fields to be a composite key
In some cases we want a combination of values to be unique. A sample scenario is to ensure that there is one student, attending a particular class on a particular date. This can be achieved if the combination of StudentID, CourseID, and AttendanceDate are designated as key and hence they have to be unique. This is a valid Database concept and it will be great if Caspio implements it.

I understand that the formula field is a work-around, but it is not proper database protocol. Rather than bogging down a…
