  1. run a trigger after record is saved in the table

    We need to create a record in the child table when a new record is inserted in the parent table. Since triggers operates with #inserted record (which is not inserted in the table yet) child record cannot be created (we use referential integrity)

  2. Add SQL capability when creating a new View.

    Add SQL capability when creating a new View. I believe this would be very useful to generate aggregate totals like:"Max(), Sum(), Exists" and concatenation of values. This view should also be available for scheduled downloads .

  3. differentiate unused fields

    We would like to be able to differentiate in a table which fields are not used anywhere, neither views, nor Datapages, nor Triggers, nor Tasks.
    Many times the tables get fat and there are fields that are ultimately useless.

  4. Add new formula fields in views with more than one table

    It would be great I could create formula fields in views (with more than one table). This could make it possible to use, combine or calculate data from multiple tables in a formula.

  5. Trigger generated SQL

    Hi,

    can we have a way to see what SQL gets generated when we setup a trigger? this will help figure out logic issues and other small trigger issues for people who are familiar with SQL.

  7. Add file type to email triggers

    It would be beneficial to also have the "file" type field be sent as an attachment in the email triggers. This way, a user can essentially submit emails with an attachment.

  8. Make it so Scheduled Import task can trigger Triggered Actions

    Would love to have my triggered action being triggered whenever I update the table thru Scheduled import task. For example, I have table with my inventory report and is being updated via scheduled import task daily. It would be nice to add a "Updated as of (date/time the scheduled task was run).

  9. triggered actions "on update" fired on bulk edit/update.

    triggered actions seems to be great idea.
    but worthless if it is fired only on single update /for example through details page/

  10. Filter a View by comparing two fields like a calculation.

    For example. I would like to be able to create a view by comparing two separate fields.

    1. Field1 Equal to Field2...
    2. Field1, Greater Than or Equal to Field2..
    3. [Sale_Price] - [Cost] < "500"
    4. [LastImportDate] = Max of [LastImportDate]

    Examples, COST vs SALE PRICE. Create a filter that allows me to show

  13. Raise the table limit on view to 25

    I use lots of "dictionary" tables for lookups on drop downs these occur in multiple column in reports so need to be included as a different alias for each said column. Starts to add up pretty quick and I've already met the 16 table limit.

  14. We should be able to develop app with dynamic search bar displayed with results without using another data page

    At the moment, through viewing your ready-made apps and tutorials, we need to use up a DataView from our limited (5) dataviews when you create a search display simply to be able to have the search and results on the same page. This seems very restrictive.
    You should be able to have a setting to display search and results on the same page without this extra data page.

  15. Make the way TASKS are written optional graphical or text based

    Allow Task writing in text mode in stead of graphical blocks, so one can build an own library and copy past between tasks.

  16. Make it easier to reorder View fields

    For Views with many fields from many tables, it is very helpful to arrange the fields in a logical order, especially when adding a new column which by default goes to the end. At the moment, one has to use up and down arrows for this, which is very clunky and time-consuming for large Views. Please could you consider replacing the current fields control with one that allows the selected item to be dragged to a new position in the list.

  17. Allow list strings read data from another table

    Allow 'list strings' in tables to read data from another table
    (instead import data).

    In many cases the list is incomplete after some hours. Because users have entered new data.

    For example:
    I need a the selection of multiple products, which is continuously extended.

  18. allow views on views, so the data source design can effectively become a bit more "object-oriented" and more maintainable

    and also allow "full SQL" definition of views - set unions, set differences etc.; plus creation of combination / concatenation fields in views; would be great in itself but also provide solutions to some of the front end limitations like drop downs can't be sorted on some other field etc.

  19. Freeze first column in a TABLE (not a datapage table)

    I'd like to be able to "freeze" the first column in a table, so that as I scroll across the table, I can always see the first column (which indicates the name of the record).

    Sometimes we have a lot of editing to do, and it's easiest to do it in the table. And sometimes, we want to copy the same info into a field for several records. But since we can't see the "Names" of the records (that are in the first column) as we scroll across, we can't accurately past info into the fields. If we could freeze…

  20. Caspio supported digital signature capture

    It would be great if there was a datatype for signatures so that you could capture signatures natively in the Caspio application.
