Make "Tabbed Navigation for Multiple DataPages" easier and Code free
Access applications have much better navigation which make them really great in terms of look and feel of an application.
the ability to have tabbed navigation should be easy to do in Caspio and without code.

Add numbers / percentages as a standard element in Datapages
When entering numbers (e.g 1000000) to display in datapage as 1,000,000. Similarly for percentages (e.g. 0.1) displayed as 10%. Right now I have to create a virtual field next to the input filed to make sure users are entering numbers correctly.

Layout editor.
Caspio's layouts don't have much functionality to improve the look and feel for users. An interface whereby field objects can be moved around, such as in a crystal reports environment, would really help.

Extend CASPIO to Mobile platform through Apache Cordova
Caspio team could work with Apache Cordova to allow our comunity build applications for mobile devices. Similar to Caspio datapages, Apache Cordova enables wrapping up of CSS, HTML, and JavaScript code on mobile devices despite what the platform is (IOS, Android, etc). It extends the features of HTML and JavaScript to work with the device. If Caspio can do it, them Caspio would be the first low code platform to build native mobile device applications.

SQL DISTINCT - Unique records from a field or set of fields
Add an option for a DataPage to generate a list (either Gallery or List) which displays unique values only. This is the equivalent of the SQL DISTINCT command and should be capable of being filtered (unique Zip codes in a single/set of states in a list of addresses) or the unique records from a set of fields - One instance of any records with first and last name being exactly the same.

Allow custom RULE names
Allow custom RULE names so the rules that appear listed in the Rules tab are easily distinguished. If I have 20 rules I have to click on each one to find what fields it covers, how its set, or to make a change. All we have now are Rule 1 ... Rule 20.

Permissions utilization in Data Pages more effectively
Permissions should allow designers to dictate which users can and cannot edit the same DataPage. Currently the only options are to create Rules for editing in the Bulk or Details areas of a Tabular Report. This means that the Line and Grid Edit features cannot be used.
As a work around, designers are forced to create duplicate DataPages...one that is Display Only and one that can be Edited.

Allow font awesome all over Caspio in forms and also Label fields
In many cases Social Media input fields have to be created. Like "Your LinkedIn" or "Facebook". It would be a good thing to install Fontawesome on the Caspio Server. Like this fontawesome icons could be used with shortcodes or with embed code. At the moment this is only possible with a HTML block, but this block would show the social media icons too far from the label names, it must be allowed to place the fontawesome icons in the labels when creating datapage forms. Need BCC: email distribution option available for notificaiton and submission
Currently there is a option to send submission and acknowledgement emails, but not BCC. It would be nice to have a BCC option as some senior managers want to be copied without them being on the email distribution.

Dropdown Menu/Auto Completion Combined
This seems like a feature that should be standard but if you can have a drop menu where you can also type in the field like an autocomplete field, this would be great

Add NavBar Menu datapage
Currently we are using an HTML datapage to add a navbar menu on every webpage. The reason for this is to not duplicate code and have the ability to dynamically change the menu with different user authentications. Unfortunately, we cannot authenticate the navbar menu differently than the datapage on the webpage, so we had to resort to authenticating all datapages the same and re-direct the user manually if their authentication doesn't match.
It would be really convenient to have a navbar menu datapage that you could add menu buttons, drop downs, etc. And assign URL's to the buttons for redirecting.…11 votes -
Remove the limit of 20 series for a stacked bar or column chart when data source is dynamic series
The limit of 20 series for a stacked bar/column chart is causing misrepresentation of a results data-set when using a combined chart & report.
Currently when a dynamic series stacked chart reaches the 21st or above series, then the results page displays the row, but the graph completely omits the data. This means the graph is misrepresenting the dataset !
I consider this to be a bug (not a 'feature' of Caspio as support have claimed ! ) - if you are combining a report and graph then the results should always represent the same dataset.

Give Calendar Report the ability to span a single event over multiple days
Can we please give the Calendar Report the ability to span a single event over multiple days? For example, if I am hosting an event from April 4th - April 6th, the Calendar will only display either the Start Date or the End Date. The calendar would be much more useful, and much more accurate, if the event was listed through April 4th, 5th and 6th. This would also give a much cleaner picture, and allow businesses a more accurate reporting when it comes to event/meeting dates.

Dynamically change chart colours
Currently we have a bar chart that displays all the records in various status'. We would like to colour all "New" items as blue, "In Progress" as orange, etc. But, we can only pre-define colours in order. So if there are no "New" records, then "In Progress" will show up as blue because it is the first column.

Could you make a format option within the "Display options" that says "Phone" or "Mobile Format" and allows the leading Zero to be displayed (it currently doesn't work that way). This would then allow users to click on the phone number from their mobile and it would dial automatically.

Allow the display of a list-string data type to be used/displayed as a field in a DataPage
Other field types can be displayed in a DataPage but not list-strings.

Can Autocomplete be modified by user or system to show more than 10 potential matches
Can the autocomplete function on a search or entry field be modified to show more than 10 potential matching selections, say 20? Ideally the user would be able to increase this number to 20, 30 or whatever value needed?

To make ture sense of white labeling
To have a true sense and complete purpose of white labeling feature, I think it will be great if the code to be deployed to any website will be encrypted or caspio can create virtual domain or some kind of key for the customer identification that replace "caspio.com". in the embedded section of the code that copied and posted to individual webpage or framing, that way customer can get what they are actually paid for as white label and customer can also protect some unethical people who steal sources page just by doing the right click on the page source…

compress member submitted photos or images
Have the system compress user uploaded images before submission so that they can load faster in reports. So when a user submits an image, yes Caspio can resize it - but can not compress it. In theory a user could submit a 5mb photo at 320px wide and I would not want this to be shrunk (as I want 320px to be shown), but rather compressed to 40kb so that it would load real quick on my data page
