Trigger Based Email
Success of most web applications requires a lot of user activities. In order to get users to be active companies needs to engage them. The most common way to do this is through email campaigns. It would be great if there is a feature to trigger an email to be sent based on certain criteria. Render Datapages as PDF
Caspio needs to include a PDF output option to bring it up to spped with other applications in this area.
As an Destination option, Caspio should provide a flag that allows a Datapage to display in PDF.
This can be applied with a simple html to pdf conversion tool.Example.
Create a HTML Datapage which receives parameters and styled as a document.
Choose this data page as the destination page (Tick for PDF) and the page/pdf should Open/Display as pdf when called by the browser.127 votesThank you again for this idea. Mass Update
When presented with the result page it would be great if users can edit in the same way as spreadsheet. Also, give users the ability to select multiple records or all records to delete.

Allow a combination of fields to be a composite key
In some cases we want a combination of values to be unique. A sample scenario is to ensure that there is only one record per facility per year. This can be achieved if the combination of facility and year are designated as key and hence they have to be unique. This is a valid RDBMS concept and it will be great if Caspio implements it.

Caspio SQL Query
Would be nice if there was an SQL query for Caspio whereby you can write SQL statements to manipulate data in your Caspio database. In addition, be able to schedule jobs to run SQL query. Furthermore, it would also be great to trigger queries based on insert or update or records. See attached.

Allow sub-users to access the Ticketing System
Hi,
I was hoping Caspio can allow sub-users to access the Ticketing System. I am the admin of my caspio account and I'd like to keep it that way.
However, I have a couple of developers who are the ones creating apps for our company. It's a pain for me to be the only point of contact when we have an open ticket with you. From the notification emails of new response, to the email exchange within our internal team.

Calculations within a web form
in our app we would like to automatically do ratios based on formulas of data entered by users.
For instance a when a user inputs their monthly income and household size we can use a look up table to match the resources they have compared to the poverty level for their household size and give them a percentage.
This is easy to accomplish in excel, but a pain in Caspio.

Caspios emails are being delivered as unauthenticated emails to recipient host (gmail in particular).
reconfigure your email servers (spf, dkim, A & MX Records) and associate the tcp/ip port (usually 25) with the domains ip address. You will also need to configure reverse dns to authenticate the email sender to the receiver host. It's not at all difficult to do.

Import Update (Not Append or Replace)
There should be an option when we import information from say Excel into a Caspio Table to Update current information, NOT have to Replace everything. For instance, if I have to add a field to a table, it is easier to export, make the changes in Excel and then would like the option import the information while only updating the selected information into a specified table.

Multiple Select
In addition to allowing users to create a listbox with multiple select enable, give them the ability to set form element to checkbox with multiple select.

Can we add SQL to the table formula field for cross table calculations?
Now that we have a formula field which is great for in table calculations can we take the logic step and include SQL commands or soem form of macro that would allow cross table calculations to be stored in table.
For example at present we can SUM a range of records from any table or view using the calculations field, but the performance is slow i'd say. But to be able to do the same in table, would make a significant improvement to performance and functionality.

Update multiple records in a batch
Implement the ability to update the value of one field in all records in a table that have a specific value in another field. Usage examples: Set the rebate for all items of type "old stock" to "20%" or set the color code of all records smaller than "0" to "Red".

A combination of both "AND" and "OR" logical operators between search fields
Allow much greater flexibility in searching. A simple example could be a HR availability check where (knowing dates a person is absent) you could use a combination check to check for a set date if they are available.

Remove the 10,000 record limit for tasks
The 10,000 record limit is too low for updating records using tasks.
