Search in home screen and apps screens
It would be nice with a search field on top that lets you search for i.e. datapages, tables, views etc. regardless if you are in Home screen or inside a spesific app

Warning Sign When Exporting Tables with Large # of Records in Excel
When users are exporting tables with large # of records in Excel, only the first 65,000 rows will show. One customer has suggested to add a Warning Message about it.

Allow custom formatting of tabular reports, particularly coulumn width
Currently, columns in tabular reports are formatted automatically. The styles options only allow fixing column width for all colums equally. There should be a possibilty to define column width individually per column

create a way to copy display values for radio buttons when there are multiple fields that have the same options
Many surveys have the same options (a, b, c, d, e) for many questions. If the questions are set up using radio buttons, the options must be re-typed for every survey question. Why not have something like a lookup table for the option values?

Require passwords to have special characters or numbers
When a DataPage is authenticated,make the password field to be required and specify the way passwords are entered. For example, Password has to be 8 characters in length, with atleast one number and one special character.

Search and results on the same page
Currently Search is first and then results in next page. It's a common request to have results and search box on the same page as a built in feature in DataPage design. To achieve this currently we need to create two DataPages, submission form and predefined report then pass parameters, and deploy both on same webpage...

search and find datapages by deploy code
I have a lot of datapages and I would love to be able to find the datapage by the last 4 digits of the deploy code....it is difficult to find the correct datapage when the title itself is not descriptive, accurate or in the right folder.

Ability to Export through tasks without the Need for ZIP/Compress archive files
The Datahub is Awesome but without the ability to export a normal uncompressed CSV file via FTP, it lacks a lot of flexibility. If I could export uncompressed to an FTP folder, I could set another program to receive the filed seamlessly. As of now, I would need to download them, unzip and then upload again. That is a lot of extra steps and makes automating it more tricky.

Give us a time frame for when to expect 8.0 to release.
As a customer who has to plan on what tools I can use as I develop my app, I wonder what I should be expecting from Caspio as a service and what to plan for. I worry that the lack of clarity in the release date will result in a never-delivered upgrade. While it is nice to have a running "wish list" of features, it is fundamental to know when to expect the basic upgrade to be useful.
I understand that release dates can be tough to nail down, but that doesn't mean we all should be left in the…

Offer easy integration AutoResponders such as Aweber, Get Response, iContact
When adding records to Caspio there should be an easy integration with auto responders without having to rely on an export and import. This should be real time and seamless. It should be very easy for Caspio to incorporate and will help to retain customer loyalty and attract new customers

Calculations within a web form
in our app we would like to automatically do ratios based on formulas of data entered by users.
For instance a when a user inputs their monthly income and household size we can use a look up table to match the resources they have compared to the poverty level for their household size and give them a percentage.
This is easy to accomplish in excel, but a pain in Caspio.

Allow users to format "from" email
Caspio should support formatting of email address in the "from" field of the auto-emails that are sent by datapages.
It seems like I can only enter something like
no-reply@abccompany.comI would like the email address to include the name.. Something like ABCcompany.com no-reply@abccompany.com
This way, "ABCcompany.com" will be displayed in an email client instead of "no-reply" which can be mistaken (or might appear) to be spam.
This is a standard feature implemented in all email clients and I'm surprised that its not yet supported in Caspio.
Please add this support asap.

Allow opening a datapage and a table at the same time in two windows - OR, save work without publishing.
Sometimes I've done a lot of programming developing a new datapage and I need to refer to a table's contents before I proceed. As it is now, I need to close the datapage (resulting in a loss of all work unpublished) in order to open the table and then go back to the datapage to work on it. It seems it would be efficient if I could save my work or rename it while I'm in the file OR could open up a table to review while I'm working on a datapage.

AJAX for table DataPages making "add record" and "edit record" without page reload to make it FASTER

Data range search functionality
A search and report datapage should have the ability for users to add a date range as a From: [Date] & To: [Date] to pull a months in the past rather than as a relation of today.
EXAMPLE: Registration Date From: [Jan 1, 2010] To: [Jan 31, 2010]

A "Duplicate DataPage" button
If I'm making a form that is similar to another that already exists, I would like to build off that page, instead of having to start over.
